Profile

Graeme Gill joined the Department in 1981 and was appointed to the Chair in 1990. He has been a member of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia since 1994, and has held a variety of positions in the University, including Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research), Deputy Chair of the Academic Board, Chair of the Academic Forum, Associate Dean in the Faculty of Economics, and Head of the School of Economics and Political Science. He has been an ARC Australian Professorial Fellow and a member of the ARC College of Experts. He is also President of the International Council for Central and East European Studies.

Professor Gill is also a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
