This Privacy Statement is made on behalf of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia Inc. (the Academy) and all references to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in this statement are references to the Academy. Protecting your information is important

The Academy understands the importance you attach to information that identifies you (your ‘personal information’) and has designed this website and related business processes to help you protect it. Collection of Information through the Website

The Academy collects information about you each time you come to any part of the Seriously Social website. We also collect information regarding the last site you visited before coming to the Seriously Social website. This information is collected for statistical analysis to continually improve the Academy’s services and website and no attempt is made by the Academy to identify the user. This information is also used in conjunction with the Google AdWords Display Network, where previous website visitors may be served ads from the Academy on other sites they are visiting such as news sites or YouTube. 

What information we collect about you and what we do with it

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
