Profile

I hold qualifications in Medicine (MBBS), Social Work (BSW), Psychology (PostGradDipPsych) and Public Health (MPH). I have worked as a clinician in primary healthcare (general practice) and as a psychiatric medical officer within Victoria’s specialist mental health system. I have also held policy, research and evaluations roles in the mental health field including at DHHS, Orygen, headspace and Beyond Blue.

I am currently the Executive Director of Prevention United, a mental health promotion charity specialising in the prevention of mental disorders and I hold an honorary appointment with the University of Melbourne in the School for Population and Global Health.
